Anaphylaxis (22300VIC)

COURSE OVERVIEW

 Anaphylaxis is an accredited course designed for participants to acquire skills and knowledge in risk management and the managementof anaphylaxis. It includes: legal aspects of first aid, aspects of infection control, allergies vs anaphylaxis vs intolerance, causes and recognition of anaphylaxis, management of anaphylaxis and the development of risk minimisation and management strategies. Refresher training is recommended every 12 months

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  •  VU21800 – Provide first aid management of anaphylaxis
  • VU21801 – Develop risk minimisation and risk management strategies for anaphylaxis

VOCATIONAL OUTCOMES

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to consider the following job roles:

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Enclosed footwear, suitable attire, bring with them a pen.

DELIVERY AND DURATION

Duration: 4 hours Time: 8.30am to 4.30pm Anaphylaxis is open to the public and can be delivered on your site or ours upon request. Learners will receive training in both theory and practical activities. Morning tea/coffee is provided when delivered at TTA
