Isolate and Access Plant (RIISAM202E)

COURSE OVERVIEW

Isolate and Access Plant covers the isolation of plant and equipment in order to make safe and prevent injury to those who might be working on such plant.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Determining plant isolations
  • Isolating Plant
  • Completing permit-to-work forms
  • Returning plant to service

VOCATIONAL OUTCOMES

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to consider the following job roles:

  • Supervisory positions
  • Part of a workplace safety committee
  • Writing JSA’s and SWMS

This unit is applicable to those working in an operational role at worksites within:

  • Cicil Construction
  • Mining, Oil and Gas
  • General industry and trades
  • Manufacturing

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

 Safety boots or enclosed footwear, suitable attire, pen/pencil

DELIVERY AND DURATION

Duration: 4 hours Time: 8.30am to 12.30pm Isolate and Access Plant is open to the public and is conducted upon request. This course cna be delivered on your site or ours. Learners will receive training in both theory and practical activities. Morning tea/coffee is provided when delivered at TTA

RPL/LEARNING PATHWAYS
