Job Safety Environment Analysis (JSEA)

COURSE OVERVIEW

JSEA’s are becoming more and more common in industry and as such it is important that those completing them have the knowledge and skills to do so correctly. This might be done as an independant activity in order to identify hazards and the appropriate hazard controls, or it may be done as a part of a broader process, such as identifying and applying for permits required for a specific job.

  • Monitor and Review risk controls

VOCATIONAL OUTCOMES

upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to consider the following job roles:

  • Supervisory positions
  • Part of a workplace safety committee
  • Writting JSA’s and SWMS

This unit is appropriate for those working in an operational role at worksites within:

  • Civil Construction and Manufacturing
  • Mining, Oil and Gas
  • General Industry

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Safety boots or enclosed footwear, suitable attire, pen/pencil

DELIVERY AND DURATION

Duration: 4 hours Time: 8.30am to 12.30pm JSEA is open to the public and is conducted upon request. This course can be delivered on your site or ours. Learners will receive training in both theory and practical activities. Morning tea/coffee is provided when delivered at TTA

RPL/LEARNING PATHWAYS

RPL is not offered. This competency forms part of MSA training package. Further information can be found at www.mskills.com.au
