Perform Rescue from a live low voltage panel – UETDRMP007
COURSE OVERVIEW
Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel covers the performance of rescue procedures from live Low Voltage (LV) apparatus, not including overhead powerlines and underground cables in the work place. It specifies the mandatory requirements of rescue from a live LV panel and how they apply in the context of transmission, distribution or rail work functions. It encompasses responsibilities for, health, safety and risk management processes at all operative levels and adherence to safety practices as part of the normal way of doing work. Participants are required to have the pre-requisite: HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Prepare to perform rescue procedures from live LV panel
- Carry out rescue from a live LV panel
- Complete the LV panel rescue procedure

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Pre-requisites:
HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (current: within 12 months)
and
UEECD0007 – Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practiced in the workplace
or
UETDREL006 – Work safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker
Safety boots or enclosed footwear, suitable attire, pen/pencil
DELIVERY AND DURATION
Duration: 6 hours Time: 8.30am to 2.30pm Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel is open to the public and is available upon request. This course can be delivered on your site or ours. Learners will receive training in both theory and practical activities. Morning tea/coffee and lunch is provided when delivered at TTA
RPL/LEARNING PATHWAYS
