COURSE OVERVIEW

Manual Handling covers the skills and knowledge required for workers involved in Manual Handling Tasks

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  •  Follow organisational procedures for a particular task to minimise the risk of injury
  • Utilise and implement strategies as directed to improve workplace organisations

VOCATIONAL OUTCOMES

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to consider the following job role:

  • First aider
  • Office administration
  • General duties

  • manufacturing

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Enclosed footwear, suitable attire, bring with them a pen

DELIVERY AND DURATION

Duration: 1 day Time: 8.30am to 4.30pm Manual Handling can be delivered at our site or yours upon request. Learners will receive training in both theory and practical activities. Morning / afternoon tea and lunch is provided when delivered at TTA.

LEARNER SUPPORT

If you require special assistance, including language literacy, and numeracy please notify us and support services can be arranged. Students that require any special dietary requirements should contact the Academy prior to commencement of course so alternative arrangements can be made.
