Provide Advanced First Aid (HLTAID014)

COURSE OVERVIEW

 Provide Advanced First Aid covers the skills and knowledge required for the provision of advanced first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance, and provision of support to other providers i.e. incident details, evaluation of the incident. Refresher training is recommended every 3 years

Enclosed footwear, suitable attire, bring with them a pen.

DELIVERY AND DURATION

Duration: 2 days Time: 8.30am to 4.30pm Provide Advanced First Aid is open to the public and can be delivered on your site upon request. Learners will receive training in bothe theory and practical activities. Morning / afternoon tea/coffee and lunch is provided when delivered at TTA

RPL/LEARNING PATHWAYS

RPL is not offered. This unit of competency is from the HLT Health training package. More information can be found at www.cshisc.com.au

LEARNER SUPPORT

If you require special assistance, including language literacy, and numeracy please notify us and support services can be arranged.
