Provide Basic Emergency Life Support (HLTAID010)

COURSE OVERVIEW

 Provide basic emergency life support covers the skills and knowledge required to recognise and respond to life threatening emergencies using basic life support measures Refresher training is recommended every 3 years

  • Respond in an emergency situation
  • Apply identified first aid procedures
  • Communicate details of the incident
  • Evaluate own performance

VOCATIONAL OUTCOMES

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to consider the following job roles:

  • First Aider
  • First responder

This unit is appropriate for those working in an operational role at worksites within:

  • Any organisaiton

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

 Enclosed footwear, wear suitable attire, pern/perncil

DELIVERY AND DURATION

Duration: 1 day Time: 8.30am to 4.30pm Provide basic emergency life support is open to the public and available upon request. This course can be delivered on your site or ours. Learners will receive both theory and practical training activities. Morning/afternoon tea/coffee and lunch is provieded when delivered at TTA

RPL/LEARNING PATHWAYS
