Monitor and Operate liquified Chlorine Gas Disinfection Processes (NWPTRT007)

COURSE OVERVIEW

This unit describes the skills required to monitor and operate liquefied chlorine gas disinfection systems and report on process quality control whilst working safely. This course contains the pre-requisite MSMWHS216 – Operate Breathing Apparatus. This unit applies to those working as operational staff with specific responsibility for disconnecting and connecting liquefied chlorine gas containers in water and wastewater treatment plants.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Pre-requisite: MSMWHS216 – Operate Self contained breathing apparatus. Enclosed footwear, suitable attire, clean shaven as per AS/NZS1715 and bring with them a pen.

DELIVERY AND DURATION

Duration: 1 day Time: 8.30am to 4.30pm Work safely with Chlorine is open to the public and is conducted upon request. This course cna be delivered on your site or ours and is available upon request. Learners will receive training in both theory and practical activities. Morning/afternoon tea/coffee and lunch is provided when delivered at TTA.
