COURSE OVERVIEW
Occupational First Aid provides a set of skills to establish, maintain and facilitate the provision of appropriate first aid in the workplace environment, including the skills to provide an emergency first aid response in the event of an emergency Refresher training is recommended every 3 years

- HLTAID014 – Provide Advanced First Aid
- HLTAID015 – Provide Advanced Resuscitation and oxygen therapy
- HLTAID016 – Manage First Aid services and resources
- HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
VOCATIONAL OUTCOMES
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to consider the following job roles:
- First Aider
- Occupational Nurse
- Emergency Response team member
This unit is appropriate for those working in:
- Industry, retail, hospitality, manufacturing, construction, aged care etc

Enclosed footwear, suitable attire, bring with them a pen
DELIVERY AND DURATION
Duration: 4 days Time: 8.30am to 4.30pm Ocupational First Aid can be delivered on your site or ours. Learners will receive training in both theory and practical activities. Morning / afternoon tea/coffee and lunch is provided when delviered at TTA.

If you require special assistance, including language literacy, and numeracy please notify us and support services can be arranged. Students that require any special dietary requirements should contact the Academy prior to commencement of course so alternative arrangements can be made. A Student Handbook is available from this website and our office which provides students with training guidelines.
